Our Team

A dynamic, organised and wildly creative team that is energised with much laughter, love and respect for each other, often joined by our Wilde four legged friends, Fennel and Dora.

Big events and busy times are never possible without us pulling on a wonderful pool of floral freelancers.

Clara – Owner & Creative Director

“I have always loved and been consumed by the power and perfection of flowers. My mother had a beautiful rose garden and as a young child, I’d thieve her roses and transform the bathroom into a flower potion lab. As a young adult living in London it was flower shops which caught my attention. Propping my bike up I’d hover in the door ways transfixed by the smells, sights and wondrous workings within these delightful places. Earnings would be spent on blooms to then study and paint. Now I feel I paint with flowers.”

With a background in design, interiors and styling, Clara spends most of her time now, behind the scenes running the business, and working with clients who go to her for her much sought after style to transform spaces for their weddings and events.

Myth buster: Foliages are much cheaper than flowers. “Definitely not the case!”

Least favourite flower: Peony “The ego and the diva within this beautiful bloom drives me mad. Will she open and blow too soon, will she open at all? The waste is so frustrating!”

When most stressed: Reaches for small sprigs to make a buttonhole “The focus on something so tiny and intricate, stills and calms the mind.”

Franny – Floral Manager

Our resident DJ, is a fire cracker of energy and talent fuelled on bananas and humous, but not always in the same mouthful. With a background in Art, she came searching for a creative job and has learnt floristry skills with speed and brilliance. Franny has wonderful interpersonal skills and she manages the daily running of the shop. She creates and organises for The Wilde Couple Weddings and Wilde Party People as well as helping with all the bespoke events.

Myth buster: Floristry is a chilled and relaxing job – “Wrong It’s my cardio!”

Least favourite flower/foliage: Eucalyptus “Unoriginal and expensive – foliage can be so much more exciting!”

When most stressed: Reaches for music and has a little party for one usually to The Rolling Stones or Groove Armada.

“Thank you for how incredible the venue looked on Saturday! Wow wow wow!! The flowers were incredibly stunning, I absolutely loved all the colours. Thank you for your vision, it looked stunning.” HANNA
